It closed to new applications from 31 July 2024. Existing lodged cases are still processed. We now look at other routes that fit your profile, including the National Innovation visa where appropriate.

Subclass 858 is a permanent visa for exceptional talent in priority areas. It replaced the Global Talent visa in late 2024. We frame evidence to match the criteria and sector focus.

There is no new BIIP intake. Depending on your role, we can assess employer sponsorship, innovation pathways, or suitable visitor options for meetings and exploration.

Most permanent and many temporary pathways can include partners and dependent children. We’ll confirm eligibility and documents upfront.
